database contains information from wills recorded in DeKalb County from
August 1839 through October 1917. The
information was taken from the following county record books, the
originals of which can be found in the DeKalb County Probate Court:

Record DeKalb County A, August 1839-November 1869
Will
Record DeKalb County B, September 1869-May 1889
Will
Record DeKalb County C, April 1879-October 1917
The
database may be searched in two ways, by the name of the person who filed
the will (deceased) and the people listed as beneficiaries (heirs).
Where possible, the relationship of the beneficiary to the deceased
is given.
